What if Braga is the European Capital of Culture in 2027? What if it isn’t? What difference does that make when projects insist on jumping out of our heads and we want to share them with the city, with Europe, with the world?
This open call aims to receive project proposals that can be included in Braga’s candidacy for the European Capital of Culture 2027. If the city receives the title, the selected projects will be implemented. It is designed for citizens, cultural operators, institutions, and natural artists, residents or active in Braga, who want to submit proposals within the following lines of action: nature, heritage, well-being, and neighborhood. Proposals must promote participatory citizenship and community involvement, in a relationship with the public space.
